On-grid net metering projects

Net metering means,the solar enegr produces is more than what the building loads consume,the surplus energy will automatically be export to the TNEB distribution network)the grid).If there is loss solsr energy then what the loads of the building require,the shortfall will be drawn from the grid(energy import).

For solar net-metering to be implemented the existing TNEB service connection meter needs to be replaced with a meter that can measure both energy import(from the grid to the consumer)and energy import(from the consumer to the grid).These meters are known as bi-directional meters or import-export energy meters

Agriculture solar pump

Spica solar pumping system consists of solar pumping inverter, pump and PW array. Consider that storing water is more efficient than storing electricity, the system is designed to directly drive the pump without battery which can reduce the construction and operating cost and routine maintenance effectively.

The PV array consists of multiple solar panels connected in series/parallel, which can supply the whole system as a power source by convening the absorbed solar radiation energy to the electrical energy. Solar pumping inverter can implement the control of the whole system operation, which drives the pump by convening DC power produced by the PV array to AC power. This inverter can adjust the output frequency according to the solar irradiation intensity in real time to implement the MPPT (maximum power point tracking).

The pump driven by a 3-phase AC motor draws water from deep-well or river. The pumped water is then fed into reservoir or water tank, or connected to the irrigation system or fountain system directly. All of centrifugal pump, axial-flow pump, mixed-flow pump, and deep-well pump can be utilized

Types of solar street lights:

Solar street lights are generally classified into two types:

1) .Standalone solar street lights Standalone solar street lights have photovoltaic panels mounted on the structure. Each street light has its own photovoltaic panels and is independent of the other lamp

2) .Centrally operated solar street lights.

In this type, the photovoltaic panels for a group of street lights are mounted separately. All the street lights in a particular group are connected to this central power source.

Solar Street Light System is a standalone system, comprising of a compact fluorescent lamp, lead acid battery, PV modules; electronics inter connecting wires or cables, module mounting hardware & a battery box. The Street Light works on Battery backup, which is charged by Solar Photo-voltaic Panels. It can work for three sunless days, and operates automatically from dusk to dawn. A maximum distance of 15 meters between two street lights should be maintained.
